Iiiiiit's a fossil~!

[OH MY GOD IT'S BETTER THAN GIANT ROCK] I found it at the ruins after they got attacked~ I thought it'd look nice on my desk, but figured you might like to see it to!

...Also, I think I'll tell you about the next time this kind of thing happens because I got a lot of stuff actually... [It's wild, handed that shit out like candy...]

[She squints at it, and holds it out.] It seems like some sort of prismatic thing was trapped in the rock? It looks a bit like a wing almost...

Hectic is a way to put it, but it was worth it..! I made a lot just by being there...

This is a very well-preserved specimen, see how the veining is still visible in the imprint? Did you find this on your own, or wasit oart of the- shenanigans?

Ehhh...sort of a mix I guess?

[She shrugs.] I just kind of found it after everything settled down. Sure seems like something that wouldn't have happened normally though...

You'll have a bit of a journey to get this cloned, but I imagine if you spin it properly the team may pay for it, at least.

Mhm, these fossils tend to contain preserved genetic material of Pokémon. There's a facility in- Pewter City, I believe? -that can extract it and create a living clone of the original specimen.

Mesozoic Park? I believe it's the same basic premise, but much more accelerated.

Possibly due to more advanced technology, possibly due to Pokémon physiology.

I've got a Rotom myself. Very useful, but I've been keeping it away from the lab equipment just to be safe.

Oh! Sure! [Alright, let's just get on in there...] Honestly I feel sort of bad for the little guy, I caught them but didn't really feel like they'd be good on the team...

That's probably a good idea with your rotom though; they're really tricky! I got lucky with Gear, they're at least a little responsible...ahhh...here!

[Just kind of squatting a little to get on eye level with the Ditto, as you do. She gives it an exploratory poke.]

Carly says you can transform into just about anything, could you do that for us? Just pick something small around the lab and change.

[And just- does the DittoMonitor have all the right cords and stuff? Cause if so she's going to try plugging it into the PC and see if it actually works.]

[The result is instantaneous.

Mostly because, to the surprise of perhaps no one, a ditto cannot completely mimic the functions of a PC monitor cable.]

DI!! [Ditto is ditto again, and also part of ditto's 'arm' seems to be awkwardly against the PC.]

Mnnnnh, I guess they have limits somewhere in the end...
